JWD Group provided master planning, programming, and architectural, structural, and civil design for the Berths 55/56 Container Terminal. Detailed design work included all container terminal facilities behind the wharves at Berths 55/56, including the gatehouse, administration, maintenance and repair, and marine buildings. The three phases of construction were coordinated with the demolition of the Naval Supply Center facilities at the location.
