Euromax Terminal

For this 325-acre greenfield site, JWD Group assisted with the planning of a new, highly automated container facility. A detailed analysis was conducted to ensure balance between the wharf and cubic yard capacity. In addition, a detailed terminal simulation analysis was conducted to evaluate various crane configurations, crane width, and options such as bridge cranes versus rail-mounted gantries. The terminal features a full suite of buildings including administration and maintenance, an on-terminal rail yard, and connection with other terminals through a dedicated roadway for multi-trailer trains.
