DMJM Harris has provided system engineering services to the Texas DOT since 2001. These services consist of software upgrades, systems engineering and systems integration. We have developed a Regional Incident Management System for planned and emergency incident operations management. Through a web browser and wireless web connections, operators located in the field have the same capabilities as those operators in the TMC. DMJM Harris is currently enhancing the TranStar TMC to provide video streaming (StarStream). This will provide a fully functional web-based system that allows the secure viewing of video to include pan/tilt/zoom of selected cameras with proper integrated security via the existing CCTV subsystem.
