DMJM Harris has been responsible for the planning, design, and operations of FDOT’s SMART SunGuide Transportation Management Center (TMC). DMJM Harris completed the master plan and facility design, which included system, communications and A/E services. In addition, DMJM Harris developed the SOP Manual; provided ITS training; managed traffic incident management meetings; and developed and implemented the Severe Incident Response Vehicle program. DMJM Harris has provided 24/7 operations since the TMC’s inception and is under contract to continue operational services for eight years. In addition, DMJM Harris is providing TMC operations for FDOT District 6 (Miami-Dade and Monroe Counties), FDOT District 7 (Tampa Bay) and Miami-Dade Expressway Authority.
